Questionable Power-Up #3: Cloak of Darkness from Wizards & Warriors
12It's that feeling you have when you just want to disappear. Like that time when you proposed to your girlfriend at a basketball game and she said no. Or that time when you accidentally sent pictures of your dick to people on twitter. It's moments like this when you really need an invisibility cloak. But if Wizards & Warriors is any indication, you're better off suffering the humiliation.
Deep into the game, our hero, played by Fabio, discovers the Cloak of Darkness. In theory, this special equipment will turn Fabio invisible, making it easier to climb Castle IronSpire and defeat the evil Malkil.
Unfortunately, that's not how it works out. The Cloak of Darkness does indeed turn the player invisible, but only to the player. For reasons that still don't make sense a quarter century later, the enemies are still able to see (and attack) our hero. This renders the cloak about as useful as one of Jimmy Swaggart's apologies.
