A quick review of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, as it is in the Enhanced Edition, WITHOUT mods. For better combat and a better overall experience, I do suggest looking into mods, such as Sword Coast Stratagems. A commenter, chinmayhota, recommended that on another vid. Looking into it showed much positive commentary. In retrospect, I think the game would've been better with the improvements listed on SCS.

I stopped after about 6 hours due to a big bug, because I have beaten it before, and well knew how it was gonna go. I have fond memories of it, and knew being prepped for what was to come, while disliking the gameplay, wasn't going to be an experience worth replaying for over a dozen hours more.

The "My Gold!!" line is a reference to a certain Wild Magic possibility, which was fun to encounter in the past (especially when encountering a dragon, because I imagined taking its hoard), and that I still remember many years later.

I moved onto BG3, but I may play this again with mods someday since I already lean towards liking it, and improvements that'd make me like it more sound appealing.
