After Rouge Squadron , Star Wars Episode 1 - Starfighter was the next big thing to hit your Arcade Space Flight fancy ... but on the PC, not so much ... from horrible controls , glitches , movie playback problems (this game uses Bink file so you had to , save...quit your game and by hand view them :/) , driver for graphic card problems ... lets just say this game had a rough start on PC ... a mark of a Awful Badly Ported game , when on PS2 and Xbox 1 this game worked flawless ... PC got the shitty version ... but when it worked it was a awesome game ... this would say myself from 2004 that played games on a Pentium II

But this is me from 2016 ... so is this game still worth your time in 2016 , yes it is ...but not the PC version , even in the GoG flavour - their version is semi broken , movies don't work ... same can be said about mission 4 that can crash this game like in 2004 ... it will throw a tantrum and kick you to desktop ... oh dear another broken GOG game ...

Just get your self a PS2 emulator a Iso of this game and run it ... works,looks and even controls 100x better ... then the horrible PC port ...

And a little tidbit : the console version was SO good and sold so much they made a sequel but ONLY FOR CONOSLES ... i wonder why hmmm ... guess this fucked PC port had something to do with this... the second part is called Star Wars - Jedi Starfighter and like its first part its awesome
