Samsung recently introduced a new feature called Quick Switch (also referred to as Alt-z life) that allows user to switch between their main view and private or restricted view.

Since secure folder is pin, password or biometric protected - it ensures that only the user has access to certain content or apps that are deemed to be very private. Users now have the ability to switch or cross over to this super private zone with just double tapping the power button.

The feature has been rolled out only to Samsung Galaxy A series for now (A71, A51) and there's no information on when would it be made available for other phones including the flagship phones like Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10. But given its a simple software update, it should make its way to these phones soon.

The update also brings a new feature called 'Content Suggestions' where the phone scans your main gallery for images that may qualify to be private and worth moving into secure folder.

This video explains how get altz feature on your samsung phone and how to set up altz or how to setup quick switch on your phone.
