Quick Tips 03: Making Armor out of Foam

The third in a new series of Quick Tips, designed around short blurbs of helpful tips and tricks I've learned over the course of prop and armor making. I don't claim to be a professional, but I hope the information I have to give can help someone make something they've always wanted to!
This video is about creating a basic pattern for a piece of armor made out of foam. We start with duct tape, then work our way to a nice piece of shaped foam in the form of a basic pair of gauntlets! What next, you ask? How do you glue it up and strap it to your arm? Stay tuned for Part 2, where we get into detailing and assembling your armor! Part 3 will go over painting and finishing the piece, so don't miss it!
