Follow a group of...SOMETHING!...as they attempt to save a reality from, well, reality-conquering aliens...or something like that. Our group consists of, say...a preaching robot, a mercenary who thinks the government is out for him, a rare critter hunter of an alien, a time-traveling assassin, a robot pirate...I could go ON AND ON. =Played
Gameplay is, well, roguelike, but a DETERMINISTIC roguelike: battles are on a timeline (top of the screen) to know when attacks are coming in, and what attacks the enemies are going to do and how much damage. You use this information to kill or stagger enemies before they get a turn....basically. Field navigating is on a "charge" system: robit breaches to get into a new area. After 3 movements, you do it again for 3 days, where you fight the boss of the planet. There's also enemies (adversaries) that guard chests containing loot. Also, there are a few sidequests in the game, mainly defeating a certain mob on the field and HOPEFULLY finding the area where the quest is located.
This quicklook plays the tutorial and uses a modified save with all characters unlocked to complete the first planet. (hey, it's KINDA easy to modify the save.) It STILL would've been the same: Staggers for days and slower fights. -
