In this new video we create a Wet forest ground with puddles material with Quixel Mixer 2020, after we imported and rendering the texture in Blender 2.82 with Blender Cycles.

Recently Ton Roosendaal revealed the a proposal for the long term Blender release (Blender LTS) general plan organization.
The first proposal is to do Blender LTS, one Long Term Support release every year. The new LTS release would be supported for 2 years with important bug fixes and updates for new hardware, while strictly maintaining compatibility.
In the same announcement was revealed the release date of next Blender releases, in the next year.
Blender 2.90 that will brings new particle nodes will be released this summer.
Blender 3.0 is planned for summer 2021 and Blender 4.0 will be released in 2023.
