Radio Show Host Got Canceled, So He Went Underground (BRR #1: Crni Bombarder, 1992)
Welcome to the 1st video of my new series Balkan Retard Reviews, where I watch and review different stuff. I plan to mostly fly over old gems that I found in the old Yugoslav cinema.
The very first one I picked is the movie: Crni Bombarder/The Black Bomber, which was released on June 15th in 1992 a few months after the situation in Yugoslavia really worsened. This year, the movie reached it's 30th anniversary and therefore had a higher priority in my eyes.
The movie talks about how Crni, a radio show host and commentator got his show canceled by both his editor and later the cops for politically incorrect opinions. He decides to not submit to the authorities and illegally continue his show on his own radio station while also trying to get with Luna, a rock band singer and the girl Crni likes.
The movie was made by Serbian director Darko Bajić, with many known Serbian actors/actresses taking roles in the movie:
Crni - Dragan Bjelogrlić
Luna - Anica Dobra
Fleka - Srđan Todorović
Schmeiser - Žarko Laušević
Bešević - Petar Božović
Bogdan Marković - Danilo "Bata" Stojković (RIP)
Psiho - Dragan Maksimović (RIP)
