Rage 2 promises to mash together id Software's trademark shooting with the open-world chaos of Avalanche, the studio behind Just Cause. Considering the above gameplay video is just the intro to the game before the title Rage 2 explodes into view, it crams a lot in.

Whether with superpowers such as Shatter, the Overdrive mode that amps up your damage, or just the generous provision of grenades, the opportunities for chaos are numerous and hilarious.

Rage 2 comes out on a release date yet to be confirmed in June 2019, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
