So... a lot happened. We were shown and told what happened and what will happen forward. They are basically playing a complicated "mafia-like" game. Each day the citizens can decide to kill one person, and they want to kill the two wolves. The two wolves will decide to kill one person every night. The snake can "check" one player to the next day. The two monkeys know who each other is. The spider protects a player that night, if the wolves decides to try to attack the chosen player. The crow can tell if a person the citizens kill was a wolf or not. Nobody can leave. They've decided to play this game, and everyone is following the rules, meaning all the players must stay inside too, to let the wolves kill it's target. We also learned the citizens are outcast of the nearby village. We tried to escape, but that just lead to a game over. The person who's the snake told everyone, so everyone knows....
