Raiden DX (Arcade/Seibu Kaihatsu/1994) [720p]
33Raiden DX was originally released for the arcades in 1994 by Seibu Kaihatsu, and at least for today it is available to play via MAME based emulators. Check for example my favourite MAME Plus XT, the latest version supports Raiden II, Raiden DX and Zero Team from Seibu Kaihatsu.
Raiden DX is an upgraded version of Raiden II, we can choose one of the three following paths:
- 15 minutes long basic route
- 5 stages long normal route
- 8 (full) expert route + aidditional bonus level which we must do without losing single life, otherwise we are sent back to restart whole level again.
There is one additional weapon that wasn't present in first part of Raiden ("toothpaste" laser that needs to lock on targets) with upgraded graphics, stages and so.
