Today I make Newton Bars but not with fig . I use raisins .

Pre Heat Oven To 350 F
Bake time 18 minutes or until golden brown

Ingredients :
Filling :
1 1/3 cup raisins
1 tbl sp honey
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Dough :
6 Tbl sp soft unsalted butter
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
1/12 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 Cup flour
