Rambo III is a run and gun style video game released for the Mega Drive in 1989, which was based on the 1988 film of the same name. In this game, which was developed by SEGA in partnership with Taito, the player dresses up as John Rambo and must survive a series of challenges in order to save his friend, Colonel Trautman, who has been captured by Soviet forces in Afghanistan.
