Hovertank 3D is a first person real-time tank game by id Software. You blast baddies and save hostages in an attempt to prevent nuclear annihilation in a distinctly anti-government/anti-corporation narrative. It's a smooth and entertaining experience considering the release date, but unfortunately due to the development team is completely overshadowed by later games. James can't get the sound working for some reason, but since there's barely any it doesn't make much difference! He blasts through four levels and has fun with the simple gameplay.
