Grey Software's only title, the underrated Starcom is a solid top-down AND side-scrolling shooter that flirts with greatness but never quite reaches it. A shame it wasn't released a few years earlier really! James forgets to set his timer, blasts his way through twenty-plus minutes, fails to fight a boss properly until the last minute and gets booted back to the main menu because the lives system is bugged. Recommended so long as you play with cheats to combat the lives bug!
