In this Let’s Play series, we’re trying to survive on a hostile RimWorld as the good and bad alike come at us, as determined by the Randy Random AI storyteller. We’re still fixing things after that siege, with a host of boomrats running all around the outside of our base keeping us with little elsewhere to go. So we tidy up, start working on our new hospital (since the last one got bombed out!) and, well, just try to keep it together as best we can!
Oh, right, and a new potential colonist falls from the sky. His name is Upgrade, and he happens to be Gabela’s brother. What a coincidence!! We capture him and start trying to recruit him (even though he can’t haul or put out fires — typical!) Maybe he’ll join us? Oh, if we don’t run out of food, first, that is. Because we’re probably gonna starve. Let’s be honest here. We’re very low on food, since our kitchen got burned out, and winter is coming, so starvation is probably a thing that’s gonna happen to us. Oh, well. We’ll just do the best we can. . . and if we have to eat Upgrade, well, that’s just how it goes. It’s a dog-eat-dog — and sometimes a man-eat-man — world out here on the RimWorld!
