In this second workshop we will talk about Ranged attacks and Terrain
In skirmish games terrain plays a pivotal role in gameplay and obviously influences hand to hand combat but mostly ranged attacks
We start the video explaining how the line of Site works and what we call obscured shot. Then we showcase the simple mechanics of shooting explain the Morale dice influence during the shotting and morale phases and finally we will see how different terrain pieces interact and influence ranged attacks modifiers.
we also clarify what is area terrain and obstacles and the position called defensible.
RULES CLARIFICATIONS
-A roll of 0 (Critical Hit in melee) applies in Ranged attacks only in short range and never for javelins or slings.
- Regarding push backs from Ranged attacks as per the rule book and i quote 'If there are no successful hits then a ranged attack ends now. No groups are moved.'
