Ranking China's Gaming Rules!
13Online gaming in China has hit headlines recently with the latest round of rules being published in a draft over the Christmas period. Following on from my previous video on this topic, I decided to take a look at how well these rules might apply in the western world.
This affects all online games, whether they be mobile, pc or console and saw shares tumble for giants such as Netease and Tencent, with the possibility of some of these changes being applied worldwide by the Chinese game publishers. The restrictions announced to date suggest that the CCP intend to crack down on the addictive and destructive practices that has become common place across the live service gaming industry.
