I know it's not much, but I made the circuit, wrote the Python.
Since making this video, I've now made it more practical. Different lights come on to indicate a script running. Eg. DVB recording a TV show, Encoding a video, downloading off BBC iPlayer and a general activity light, great for debugging, you can see how long things are taking and how often they're running too.
