[Synopsis]

Chromium was working on Raspbian prior to updating Raspbian today. I haven't updated Raspbian for 5 months. After I updated it today, Youtube would crash every time I tried to use it on Chromium. Mozilla worked after the update, but I normally don't use Mozilla for streaming videos, because the performance is much worse compared to Chromium.

I tried a number of things, like clearing the cache memory, clearing cookies, allowing cookies, and disabling adblocker. None of those worked. When you update any distro of Linux, it updates all the main programs in the operating system. New features must have been added into Chromium and enabled on default. Location was disabled for Youtube for some reason. Fortunately, the solution was as simple as enabling location for Youtube.
