Important Note : You may need to restock your ammo supply before starting the mission. Use the nearby vendor to buy ammo (we always max out our ammo).

After some shooting, take out a turret's shields with an EMP. Just further ahead is a set of platforms. Don't jump onto them right away! First deploy an EMP to de-electrify, then continue through the mission.
The goal of this mission is to locate the Landstalker vehicle. Before you can get to it, though, you'll need to activate three nodes around the level. Follow the beams of orange light to the nodes and press RIGHT on the D-PAD to order a Combat Bot to rotate the node bolt. Protect the bot while it works, then move to the next node.

One node is protected by a turret. Use an EMP to knock it out before attacking the node. When all three nodes have been activated, follow the blue beam of light to the stage's objective. To use your Swingshot, just jump towards a Swingshot node with any weapon equipped. Ratchet should automatically bring out the Swingshot, letting you pull the fire button to swing to the end of the mission.


This mission provides a nice introduction to the Landstalker vehicle. You need to destroy various large, red capsules to unlock the path you need to take. Of course, there are plenty of enemies to deal with as well.

One thing to keep in mind while roaming about with the Landstalker is to constanly prep your mortars for launch. Hold down the mortar button for about two seconds and you'll charge up a massive volley of destruction. Any time you unleash the load of mortars, quickly get back on the button to charge up another set. If you play it right, you should have a set of mortars always ready to launch, which is good considering your opposition.

Target anything and everything that moves, including the enemy gunships. You can earn a lot of experience by destroying hard-to-kill things with your Landstalker's mortars. Blast your way to the blue pillar of light to complete the mission.

Zombies, zombies, zombies! You'll be in a relatively small area and faced with hordes of Robot Zombies that crawl out of the dirt around you. Watch your back as you strafe around the enemies to be sure you don't bump into something that's appeared behind you.
