Raumfeld, a division of a high-end German audio outfit Teufel, has a new speaker line for audio enthusiasts who want a no compromise multi room sound system. Raumfeld is bringing its entire line of powered speakers and home theater systems to the United States in January 2016, but we have an exclusive early look here.

This isn't simply a Sonos clone with improved sound. Raumfeld does make some single-box speaker solutions, but that's outnumbered by the variety of speakers available as stereo pairs, along with two home theater systems.

The Raumfeld sound signature is very close to flat, with precision and detail throughout the entire range. The smallest of the line delivers more low end than you would think, and the soundbar uses a form of wave technology to create a surprisingly wide soundstage.
