GAMEPLAY
Ray's The Dead is a fresh take on the zombie game genre - YOU are the zombie! Create a zombie army from your fallen enemies. Use a variety of zombie types, each with its own unique abilities, to counter enemies and solve puzzles. The game offers a host of interesting and varied scenarios that will keep you on your toes.
STORY
Experience a tale that spans nearly 30 years as you play through Ray’s history, from early youth to the undead afterlife. Ray’s powerful flashbacks will reveal the dark secrets of his past and the keys to his future. Along the way you meet a host of interesting and familiar characters. Some of them friends, some foes, and all interestingly woven into the narrative tapestry.
THE 1980s
What better time to return from the dead than in the heydays of cinema, toys, music, and celebrity pop culture? Return with Ray to the decade of decadence, to a time when anything seemed possible, and magic still existed. Revel in the adventure of a lost time.
ART STYLE
For the look of the world we’ve concocted a playful 2D and 3D mashup that is sure to please the eyes. You’ll see that our 2D characters are anything but flat as they shake, shimmy, move and groove with beautifully smooth animation.
SOUNDTRACK
Our incredible soundtrack will have you grooving to sounds inspired by the best of the 1980s inspired pop music. The soundtrack features tracks from some of today’s most outstanding retro and synthwave musicians.
