The Windows system can crash and generate stop error code 0x00000027 in the Rdbss.sys process. This problem occurs because the Rdbss.sys driver (Redirected Drive Buffering SubSystem driver) incorrectly releases a File Control Block (FCB) object twice. It can occur if it is an illegal operation performed by an application.
The defective rdbss system can lead to Blue Screen or BSOD. Occasionally, a boot error may occur on a Windows PC due to a defective rdbss system driver.
There can be many reasons for problems with rdbss.sys.
– The RDBSS service does not work.
– Improperly configured network and server and/or hardware problems.
– Viruses and malware.
– Some programs are known to crash the RDBSS service.
– Missing and/or incorrect drivers.
