In this video, I've finished my first pass of re-creating Atari's 1979 version of Asteroids entirely in C# - with (this is a compromise) minimal fixed asset dependencies of any kind other than code itself (eg no textures, no models, etc).

In this video, I demonstrate a short full play through, with audio.

Pretty happy with the results, I figure I'll post this to GITHUB tomorrow with this video and a walk through of the code, and then I'll do a second pass to fix the bugs and glitches I've noticed - and also if anyone else notices any while I'm at it - once it's posted.
