514I am just as angry as you all are because Twitter is at the point of no return. And a lot of you already know about this, but just in case you like to have a refresher, here is how it goes down.
So back on October 27th, 2022, the reckless billionaire and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk recently bought the entire social platform for exactly $44 billion. Prior to the takeover, he had made a lot of negative changes to the platform. He fired over 75% of the workforce including the CEO and advisories, implemented the $8 per month fee to stay above the unverified, caused more bots to appear, and admitted that the path to bankruptcy is inevitable.
I think in my opinion, Musk is doing this on purpose because he lost his billionaire status. So he is destroying the platform out of his spite because he could not back out of the deal.
So what does it mean for us Twitter users? Well, we certainly do not want to buy the subscription service on Twitter, and we are in the process of jumping ship to other social media platforms. While we still using the platform and making the most out of how much time it has left, it won't be long until Twitter is about to go bankrupt.
I guess it was fun using Twitter while it lasted, even though it was kinda like a place where people argue... And honestly, I think it is a better way that way because let's be honest - Twitter is not actually a good platform to use as you might run into some bad apples that spout very controversial discussions, and the moment you say something they just hound you like the next person to get your butt kicked.
