This is really easy to do on Normal or Amateur (the grenade will kill the far majini), but on Pro and Veteran it's a little more difficult because you have to shoot him again. To make matters worse, as soon as the second grenade explodes, the far majini is transported right back up to his feet again, so you have to be very quick. It is possible, of course, to throw a grenade directly under the far majini's feet (like is done with the near one), but it's a very, very difficult throw. And of course, you can use the infinite rocket launcher if you have it, but that's not the point. =P

This makes life so much easier in this little area, especially if you're playing on Pro mode. =D
