0What is Fair Use?
Fair Use is a U.S. law that allows the reuse of copyright-protected material under certain circumstances without getting permission from the copyright owner. However, Fair Use is determined on a case by case basis, and different countries have different rules about when it’s okay to use material without the copyright owner’s permission. In the U.S., works of commentary, criticism, research, teaching, or news reporting might be considered fair use, but it can depend on the situation.
Check out some behind the scenes footage and freestyle performances from our “mini-tour” a couple weeks back. We started at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas where I can be seen warming up the stage for a famous r&b singer we’re all very familiar with (no spoilers!! — this is also the one and only opportunity to see me rapping alongside go-go dancers, so that’s fun 😂). Next we took it to the LEGENDARY San Jose Improv - a stage that’s been graced by the likes of Harry Houdini & Charlie Chaplin - where I performed for the hypest audience I’ve ever had the pleasure to rock for (shout out to The Bay, y’all are my heart ❤️). Lastly we did some dope pop-up performances at SF Ski Fest (and we mayyyy have even found some time to sneak in a bayside Guerrilla Bars shoot for good measure). After this little run, I’m more fired up than ever to do more out-of-town shows in the coming year. Hope y’all enjoy and thanks for watching 🙏🏻
