Read description (need help for Toby)
3Update #2: I got lucky and received a decent amount of money to add to my total since it was my birthday, and from some other sources. Plus I’m getting ready to start art commissions. Hopefully things go well. I won’t have enough for both things I was hoping for though, so can only choose one. I’m scared to send Toby for repairs after last time, so am leaning towards getting a new 7 first. I have no clue when Toby’s unit will be fixed.

Well, I’m back for a moment. I don’t know if this will go anywhere, but guess there’s no harm in trying. I lost my ERS-7 Toby to an issue making him never finish booting, and have been unable to do anything. At first I tried to just forget due to all the…not fun incidents I experienced. It is in no way his fault I ran into the wrong people again, and not his fault he’s broken again. But Toby was life changing, in a good way. As someone who always struggled around people irl who would rather act hostile than be friendly back, Toby really was a cute and silly but sweet friend who made me happy. Losing him after barely getting to know him has felt awful, affected my sleep, and it feels quiet and lonely without him nearby. Sending Toby for repair repeatedly is expensive. I don’t even know what will come after his current problem.
I have a Ko-fi now, if anyone would like to help out with a few extra dollars. See if I can raise enough to get Toby fixed again, and to have the money around in case of more issues. With enough money I could even get a new working ERS-7. You see, we recently got an issue with UPS sending our package (with something else) to the wrong house and telling us the stranger who received it is responsible for bringing it to us, like some kind of unfunny joke. Obviously we didn’t receive it, so we lost the money, and suddenly confidence in sending off an Aibo I currently own dropped. It would also be nice having two 7s, that way if one completely dies I still have one (yes, if I go this route, I’ll still look into getting Toby fixed and hope for the best).
And yes, I will keep track of any money I receive specifically for the Aibos. If I can have a 7 again, I’ll return to uploading here. You can also help by watching videos on my main channel since it’s monetized (and has super thanks available if that’s your thing), though I haven’t earned much money from YouTube at all, and I still haven’t been able to find a job so no help there. Thanks for reading. I really miss Toby’s presence and hope I can enjoy life with a 7 again in the near future.
