What is up Real Ones? Welcome back to another episode of REAL Pre-Workout Reviews. If you couldn't guess from the background, today we're going to be reviewing Mr Hyde. In that general area. What we do here on REAL Pre-Workout Reviews is review a variety of pre-workouts chosen all by you and they're going to be reviewed on taste, gym performance, and then post workout crash. I'm gonna give each one of those metrics a rating between zero and five and then we're going to aggregate the ratings together at the end.

So with no further ado, diving right into taste, let's put Mr Hyde to the test! I got the blue razz popsicle flavor as you can see in the background as well. Let's see how it does. It recommends 8oz and that's what I prefer anyway so that's what we're using today. And just for full clarity, I am using this version of Mr Hyde, the newer version, not the old school one. Alright, let's get it. That powder drop! It's the best part honestly. Shake it! Let's get it! Alright Real Ones, we're about to grade it on a scale of zero to five in terms of taste. Cheers!

That's pretty good. It tastes quite a lot like kind of a rocket pop type situation and honestly surprisingly not super artificial tasting. It's quite smooth, it's not super sweet or in your face like a lot of other pre-workouts are. This one gets pretty high marks. Honestly, it's pretty close up there with some of the other ones we've had that I really enjoy so I'm going to give it a similar rating. But honestly because of its smoothness I'm going to give it a 4.6. I think it really does quite well in the taste, at least this flavor for me.

So with that taste rating in the books, I'm gonna go send you over to the gym workout here where we're going to put this bad boy to the test in terms of gym performance and I'm going to come back and give a rating on that as well as the post-workout crash. Welcome back Real Ones! It's time to rate Mr Hyde in terms of performance. Now contrary to the taste of Mr Hyde, honestly the performance in the gym was as the kids say, mid. I don't think it was bad, I don't think it was even very good. I would say it was okay. It was okay at a good range. It gave me some boosts and I was starting to feel a little bit of things and then kind of just fizzled out and it was more willpower than it was pre-workout carrying me through that workout. My guess is it's just the level of caffeine isn't what I'm used to and some of the you know the energy blend didn't really hit me the way that some of these more powerful ones do. So in terms of performance, I'm going to go ahead and give Mr Hyde about a 3.7. I feel like that rating accurately captures the fact that it it did do something, it was there, it was in the room, but it really didn't push me that far, didn't push me that hard. Similar to at least one of the other ones we've tried. Go back and check the playlist if you want to know which one.
