So I played through this supposed remake of XIII and now I've cobbled a little review of it together.
Until I get my set-up right I'm using a sexy text to speak voice, I hope that doesn't put you off.
Let me know what you thought of the game in the comments.

About XIII:

Remake - XIII is a first-person shooter video game developed by PlayMagic Ltd. and published by Microids for Amazon Luna, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10, 2020 and for Nintendo Switch in 2021. It is a remake of the 2003 video game of the same name.

Original - XIII is a first-person shooter video game, loosely based on the first five volumes of the 1984 Belgian graphic novel series of the same name. Developed and published by Ubisoft, it was released in November 2003 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and GameCube; an Xbox version of the game, released at the same time, was developed by Southend Interactive, while an OS X version was developed by Zonic, published by Feral Interactive, and released the following year in June 2004.

Designed with a comic book-style, cel-shaded presentation, the game incorporates single-player and multiplayer game modes. The game's main story focuses on a confused and amnesic man who searches for his identity after being found stranded on a beach. He slowly finds himself caught up in a conspiracy by a group who aims to overthrow the government. The protagonist being the one who had assassinated the President of the United States, and is wanted by the FBI.

XIII received mixed reviews and made poor sales upon its release, suspending plans for a sequel, but received a cult following. It also received a follow-up game for mobile phones entitled XIII²: Covert Identity, with a re-imaginging of the game as a point-and-click adventure entitled XIII: Lost Identity being released in October 2011.
