Underworld Ascendant is an Indie, Real Time, First Person, Dungeon Crawler RPG by OtherSide Entertainment. Inspired by the original Ultima Underworld, let's see how close to the mark they got.

Enter the Abyss with me in a this first-person RPG, exploring the new Stygian depths in this spiritual sequel.
Graphically, think Elder Scrolls: Oblivion; not a bad thing. Dated, but immersive. There's physics on everything; physics on everything is fun!

It has a very free-form character builder system. Essentially, you unlock feats points for accomplishments in game, and use those to purchase the feats/perks you want. Think completing a quest, finding a key, doing something for the first time, etc.

Underworld Ascendant had a rocky launch, and its Steam Score has yet to recover, but it is a fun innovative game that deserves a look.
