Reasons NOT to use Deepseek R1!

Prof. Brian David Phillips demonstrates and discusses a few reasons one might avoid using the DEEPSEEK R1 AI Model. Hint, it’s not just because of privacy issues (although that’s a factor) and it’s not just because there are other very good free alternatives available (although that’s also true) but it’s also that Deepseek models have such a very strong pro-CCP bias that causes it to spit out answers that are con trary to objective fact. There are a few safe ways to use Deepseek R1 but the pro-CCP bias will still be there.
