While the pg versions were horrible and the directors cuts were pretty good, I always thought the stand out thing from these movies is the soundtrack by Tom Holkenborg. I'm a huge fan of Tom, and he has been my biggest inspiration throughout my own personal music composition journey. I think the rebel moon ost is his best work. It's either that or Justice League for me. The soundtrack was absolutely incredible and it's sad that due to the general reception of these movies, people will never give the soundtrack the credit it truly deserves.

Unfortunately, Tom (or perhaps the studios he works with) has a gut wrenching history of not releasing most/all of the tracks he makes. There are so many tracks throughout his career that were never officially released. His mortal engines and army of the dead soundtracks are the worst offenders of this imo. And sometimes, released tracks are cut to an extreme amount like Beyond Good and Evil (Justice League). So unfortunately us fans have to use whatever we can to get more. Which I guess can be taken as a compliment!
