Recovery of an MMO Junkie - Tales from my online life - Tall Fox Short(er) Review
25Edit: It's going to come up eventually so I'm just gonna address it here: apparently the director of this anime is an anti-semetic, nazi sympathizing piece of shit which really bummed me out when I heard about it because I really enjoyed this show. Which should be obvious since I made a video talking about it.
I didn't hear about the news when I was first watching or even when making the review, and also didn't hear about it when I got a bullshit copyright claim filed on this video and had to go through Youtube's appeal process to get it back and have the strike removed. But regardless it really bums me out that something that brought me a lot of enjoyment turned out to be directed by such a terrible human being.
Ultimately the director is just one element of the final product, but they are a big one. They didn't write the original web comic, nor did any of the show's writing reflect any of his ignorant and piece of shit views. But regardless it really makes my heart sink that this show will be forever tainted by this human garbage and it worries me that a cute slice of life show like this is going to be overshadowed by controversy in the long run, but we will see.
I do still want more of this show like I said, but if Kazuyoshi Yaginuma contiunes to be the director I will be giving it a hard pass. Thanks.
