Terror Drones are available to all the Soviet factions for a price of 500 resources. They are quite unique units with a very interesting role and can become one of the most annoying units in the entire game.

Terror Drones can instantly kill any infantry units including Commandos and Brutes with a single strike. Brutes can not be killed by Dogs. Despite their low health, Terror Drones can not be matched in a single combat from any infantry except Boris and perhaps Chrono Legionnaire.

Despite their fast movement speed which may be the fastest in the game, Terror Drones are not considered good scouts because of their low vision.

Their real value starts to shine against vehicles where Terror Drones can cause chaos in a group of vehicles especially if you haven't noticed them. They can cause a significant amount of damage that any light vehicle and not only will be for sure destroyed before you can even have a chance to save them.

There are few ways of countering a Terror Drone but most times players are not prepared having to kill their own units in order to destroy the Terror Drones inside.

The most confusing part about Terror Drones is their armor. They are considered as vehicles but have a special type and this is why they take sometimes too much damage from weak forces and sometimes barely any damage from heavier ones.
