Red Ball 5 is a fun and exciting fun filled platform based adventure that has elements of puzzle, it is the fifth of the series and if you liked the earlier releases, you'll like this one as well as it is just as fun and just as exciting, the story goes that the Red Ball's lover is in danger, he needs to reach her as soon as possible so as to save her from the evil enemies, it won't be that easy though as there are a lot of obstacles and traps along the way like gaps, chasms and even deadly spikes and many more, that's besides those nasty creatures you'll encounter along the way like those spiders and many more, the game features a bunch of collectibles that you can take, like treasure chests and even stars, you need to collect all the treasures and all the stars in the level to get the highest rating at the end of the level, be careful though as the Red Ball is far from invulnerable, and if he gets nipped multiple times, it's game over for you. so are you up to the challenge?, do you have what it takes to help the Red Ball save his lover?, play it and find out for yourself if you have what it takes here in Red Ball 5.
Graphics and Sound
Red Ball 5 has very simple 2D graphics, designs are great though as the characters you'll see in the game are so cute and pretty, even the nasty creatures in the game are quite pretty, environments are nice too, the foregrounds are quite pretty and the backdrops are nice as well, the colors in the game are great, everything looks vivid and sharp, there are a lot of greens in the game that are quite cool to the eyes, animations seem quite smooth as can be experienced when you play the game, the rolling and jumping of the Red Ball and the movements of the other characters and moving parts were nicely animated, music and sounds are quite cool too, the game's music is soft and quite subtle and sound effects are very nice as well, there are lots of clinking sounds when you get those collectibles, special effects are nice too, it looks kinda simple really but it still contributed to the overall beauty of the game, overall, the game looks quite pretty for a browser, must be the appeal of the Red Ball.
Gameplay
Red Ball 5 as mentioned earlier is a platform based puzzle game and as such you will be exploring the levels rolling and jumping from one platform to another, the main goal is tom get to the exit as quickly as possible while collecting stars, treasures chests, avoiding those nasty creatures and solving puzzles at the same time, no worries as the puzzles in the game are quite moderate, but easy as it may be, you still need to be careful here as the character will die if nipped too many times, controls are easy by the way, you just need to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to control the character.
Features
Red Ball 5 features simple but beautiful graphics, difficulty is moderate which is great for everyone, there are stars to be collected and treasures to be found, it also has very simple and easy to use controls for everyone to enjoy.
Conclusion
Red Ball 5 gave me a great time, I enjoyed it a lot, I find it really easy and fun, this is great for casual gaming, check it out, if you liked the earlier releases, you'll like this one as well.
