This video marks the final installment in a trilogy covering the developments in Red Ball speedrunning that took place after rare.eg achieved a time of 3:07 in the 12 levels category. The first video in this trilogy, "How the Flawless Red Ball Speedrun Record got Destroyed," left off JonasGaming's insane accomplishment of completing Red Ball in 3:01 flat, putting him extremely close to the sub 3 minute milestone he was trying desperately to achieve. This run made use of a strategy called "Death Warp" in level 4, which saved him around 2 seconds, a technique which was fully explored in the second video in this trilogy, "Red Ball's Biggest Mystery was Finally Solved After 12 Years". This video follows the quest between Caramel, rare.eg, JonasGaming, Xdxboxjaja, and one other competitor to become the first to complete red ball in under three minutes. Indeed, one of these five players managed to become the first to pull it off.
