Welcome back...here's part 2 of my RDR2 walkthrough in Virtual Reality with the Real VR mod...I can't stop ranting and raving about how awesome it is to play this game in full stereoscopic 3D on a VR headset,after you experience this game on this mod,it's very difficult to go back playing this on a traditional flatscreen etc but you also have to have a pretty beefy PC in order to fully immersive yourself in this game...I apologize in advance for the poor framerate,when I was playing on my headset,the framerate wasn't as laggy but apparently what's viewed via your HMD as opposed to what's being recorded are two different things,I've been tinkering around with the Steam VR super sampling on the Reverb and also trying out different built in settings on the Real VR mod's bat file...for my particular setup,I found that reducing the supersampling down to 70-80 percent and medium settings on the mod's RealVR.bat file,granted me a decent balance of visuals and framerate(I was getting atleast 60 frames) for me,a minimum 60 frames is good enough to be atleast playable...I also made my part 3 of this game but I tested it out on the Oculus Quest 2(you'll see it in my next video) to be honest,I think I prefer playing on the Quest 2 because it's a bit smoother and the recording seems to be also smoother...anyhow,let me know if you have any suggestions or what your experiences have been like in the comments below...try to enjoy the video:-)
