RED TREES! WALKING A FINE LINE BETWEEN DREAD AND HEART WARMING
3There's been a lot of spooky RPG Maker games we've played recently so Not Greg decided that this game, Red Trees, looked like a nice change of pace! It's colour pallet is incredible, it's pixel art charming as all heck and it's dripping with Stardew Valley vibes all over! What more could you want? WELL a pending sense of dread encircling this sleepy forest town? Nope.. not that.. but beneath it all there's something truly heart warming about Red Trees. Cue the collective awwws.
In a small town encircled by trees, mysterious events are unfolding. Pet rabbits are going missing, people have been injured, and the townsfolk are whispering about something lurking in the woods... Since none of the adults want to do anything about this, it's going to be up to you to get to the bottom of it.
Before you can do that, however, simply getting into the woods might be a problem.
