Redesigning The Neopets Layout With VanZark
176Neopets is in dire need of a site redesign! I called up reddit user VanZark to go over this ux design exercise where he is going through a redesign of the Neopets.com homepage. This web design interview goes over experience design fundamentals, the design process, and the love of the old Neopets site.
User experience design is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. User interaction design has to do with the overall process of a user working with the design provided.
Browser based games like Neopets thrive of their web layouts and their design can break or make them. VanZark, a self-taught
web designer, is setting out to redesign this site in HTML5 and CSS.

Neopets® began way back in 1997 in a dingy little computer room. The site was launched on 15th November 1999. Neopets has been available in many languages since 2004 -- including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German and Dutch. Our aim is to keep adding new and exciting games, puzzles and activities daily and hopefully keep you all entertained!!! :)
