Redfall is a story-driven action shooter from Arkane Studios Austin, the creators of Prey and Dishonored. In this open-world game, you can play solo or team up with friends to fight against a horde of vampires and their human followers who have taken over a coastal town in Massachusetts. You can choose from a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique abilities and weapons, and customize your playstyle as you explore the secrets of Redfall. Redfall is available on Windows and Xbox Series X/S, and is included with Xbox Game Pass.

I have to say I’m really enjoying Redfall, a lot more than I thought I would, especially given all the bad reviews. The game is fun, immersive and challenging, with a lot of variety and replay value. The graphics are stunning, the voice acting is superb and the story is engaging. I love the characters and their interactions, and the combat is satisfying and strategic. I know some people have complained about glitches and bugs, but I haven’t experienced any major issues so far asides from aiming on gamepad being quite poor. I think Redfall is a great game and well worth trying out with Game Pass at least. If you like open-world shooters with a twist, you should definitely give it a try.
