80KURAPIKA CAPTURES CHROLLO AND PAKUNODA SACRIFICES HERSELF! Wow I did not see any of that coming! Firstly, the Phantom Troupe are determined to find Kurapika the chain user, for vengeance for killing Uvogin but they do not know what Kurapika looks like so Chrollo uses Neon to find Kurapika. Meanwhile, Kurapika is in disguise in a car with Gon and Leorio whilst Killua and Melody spy on the Phantom Troupe members. Chrollo realises that he could have used Neon to find out about the chain user Kurapika as Neon likes collecting body parts such as the Scarlet Eyes which is what Kurapika is also looking for. The Phantom Troupe member Kortopi uses his power to copy anything to find the copy he made of the Scarlet Eyes which leads him to a hotel that Neon and her bodyguards are in so the Phantom Troupe members head there as they believe Kurapika will be staying there. Melody uses her amazing ability to hear even the slightest of footsteps to track them down and update Kurapika, Gon and Leorio. However, the Phantom Troupe sense their presence and go after Gon and Killua whilst Pakunoda and Nobunaga interrogate Squala, one of the bodyguards about Kurapika. Squala fails to give answers to Pakunoda, he retaliates too and has his head chopped off by Nobunaga. Jeez! Gon and Killua are interrogated as the Phantom Troupe members believe they might know who Kurapika is but they don’t reveal anything so are taken as hostages. Squala’s head gets chopped off and Pakunoda receives his memories which she shoots at Nobunaga and Kortopi giving them a clear picture of what Kurapika looks like. The Phantom Troupe members head to the hotel with Gon and Killua but because Melody has already heard their plan, she and Kurapika are already there with a plan to capture Chrollo. Leorio pretends that he’s talking on the phone but is actually trying to send Gon and Killua a message about their plan. The boys understand that they wish to switch the lights off and that’s their chance to attack and escape. After the lights get switched off, Killua breaks Pakunoda’s left arm and tries to set Gon free but the plan backfires with Nobunaga catching Gon and Machi catching Killua.
However, they realise that their boss Chrollo has disappeared and a note is left behind addressing to Pakunoda from Kurapika that if she discusses their memories then he will kill their boss. Feeling anxious and threatened, Pakunoda does what Kurapika says and they meet. Kurapika has captured Chrollo with chains binding him and Kurapika places his Judgement chain on Chrollo’s heart to forbid him from using Nen and to stop all contact with the other Phantom Troupe members. He then places his Judgement Chain on Pakunoda’s heart to make her release Gon and Killua without harming them and to not tell anyone about him. Kurapika then realises that even if he kills Chrollo, the Phantom Troupe will still exist so spares him as well as to protect Gon and Killua. Later, in the airship, Hisoka wishes to fight Chrollo revealing that he’s not a true Phantom Troupe member but Chrollo tells him that there’s no point in fighting him as he cannot use Nen anymore. This disappoints Hisoka and he leaves. Pakunoda returns to the Phantom Troupe members and is determined to stay loyal to the Phantom Troupe’s ideals and to the boss. Therefore, she uses a Memory Bomb on six other Phantom Troupe members to give them all her memories about Kurapika. Because she is breaking the rules of revealing her conversation with Kurapika and about Chrollo’s condition, the Judgement Chain crushes her heart and she dies instantly. The Phantom Troupe therefore, find out about the Judgement Chain that is placed on Chrollo’s heart and about Kurapika’s motives therefore, cannot enact their revenge. That’s some loyalty man….
