Redworm Composting Bin Contents | Microscope Observations
So let's take a closer look at the stuff sitting inside the worm bin from my previous video. We shall look at a redworm cocoon, a mature redworm, a sample of the compost, and some of the fluids sitting inside the bin. I am using a microscope I had since I was younger (TK2 Scope) that I never used much. Unfortunately, I didn't keep track of the specific magnification level for most of the observations, but the three different magnification levels you are seeing are 40x, 100x, and 400x. When it comes to the protozoans of the fluid sample, I am pretty sure I saw a lot of Paramecium but I am not sure what some other organism are (the rounder or bean shaped creatures for example). I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
