nVidia's update to the Geforce Experience today broke Shadowplay's ability to record my desktop. Obviously, I got it working again. Here's how.

TL;DW?
1) Exit Geforce Experience (don't need to uninstall)
2) regedit HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\ShadowPlay\NVSPCAPS
3) Two new Binary Values: "dwmEnabled", "dwmEnabledUser"
4) Set values to: 01000000
