The bearger is ultimately pretty easy to deal with, it's one of the easiest giants to get to go away, if not the easiest. If you do want to know how to fight one, it's actually fairly similar to the deerclops I feel, but as always, you armour up and kite it with your spear. That big shockwave attack is real annoying, but the radius seems to be less than it appears. Instead of freezing you, he'll just bat aside your weapon. Just pick it up again or lure it away and circle back in if you have to, but you can easily get a hit or two in, then kite backwards. The one crucial difference is you need to fight this thing well away from your base, as its stomp does destroy any building it is near.

As with all giants though, the damn thing takes too long to kill and unlike the deerclops, the reward isn't great. It turns into a refrigerated backpack which would be great if it had 8 slots. Since it has less than the standard backback, I don't ever bother using it.
