Remnant: From the Ashes: New Game Hardcore Apocalypse campaign / Part 2
79PART 2 STRATEGY:
I revisited the dungeons and areas I skipped to get the trinkets and trait books I missed. I had the Riphide dungeon but that would have been suicide to fight Riphide so early on, especially since I did not need flicker cloak. I opted out of not getting Leto's armor as well. I really needed extra damage from some source due to the sponginess of the enemies, so I had my eyes set on Void. In Rhom, the goal was to take it very slow. You can get easily swarmed due to the sheer volume and density of the enemies here. I was especially careful in the Vyr dungeons. I died on a previous run in the Vyr dungeons from getting swarmed by crawlers. My strategy was that anytime they spawned crawlers, I would haul my butt back as far as I can go to creat space from crawlers, Vyr and elites. Call me a coward but a strong defense was a strong offense in this case lol! I skipped the beamrifle dungeon as I was using the sniper swap build, so it was not needed. I left Houndmaster alive to get that sweet jerky! The last dungeon I skipped was the wastelander flail dungeon. No explanation needed on that one lol. With Corsus, I just tried to pick off the mobs from a safe distance. The dungeon portions were a nightmare. They kept spawning the behemoths, which chewed through my ammo. Again, I would run away far so I wouldn't get overwhelmed by enemies.
SHADE & SHATTER: Shout out to YeetsMeMario for coming up with this brilliant cheese strategy for S&S. The trick is to get them separated so you don't get double teamed. Once you deal enough damage, they will activate veil. Use rattleweed to distract the crawlers and pick them off. Here is where the fun begins. Increase your rad resistance by chugging a heavy water. Pop a bloodwart for health regen and enter the veil. Alternate shooting both of them. They have a stagger meter and it is very high on apocalypse. By alternating between the two, you will never reach the stagger limit, thus enabling you to cheese kill them. Dodge out of the way once you kill one because you don't want the radiation bomb landing on your head!
CLAVIGER: Since I was blessed with veil in this campaign, it trivialized this fight. Cast veil when the Vyr are summoned. Pick them off and focus on Claviger. It's a long fight but with veil, you will be just fine.
THE UNCLEAN ONE: Went downstairs for this one to avoid adds. He has a lot more health but the randomness from the adds would of increased the difficulty by a ton. As long as are good with dodge timings for this version, you should not have a problem. Problem is, one hit from any attack here aNd you die. You need to be PERFECT.
THE THRALL: This guy was a bit problematic. The void set has weak corrosion resistance as well. The trick is to kill only one of the bugs, that way, only one will be present throughout the whole fight. Use rattleweed to get that one off you during tight situations. And always remember for this fight, KEEP RUNNING!
