This is a tutorial for Arabs and Americans on how to remove the root of a pomegranate tree. The procedure is as follows:

1. Dig a deep enough hole
2. Whiggle the root around like you do when loosening a tooth
3. Pull it out!

This is a tribute to my Middle-Eastern Jordanian heritage of tending the land in Anjarah, Jordan.
