Reset Day & Halloween Event for Dota 2? Dota Plus Update
4It is reset day!
A number of changes and improvements have been implemented including the start of the Fall Season which brings with it the Autumnal Treasure. This has sets for various heroes as well as a very rare courier that comes with a etherial or prismatic gem.
A number of features have been brought over from the Battle Pass as part of Dota Plus as well as the Ranked Roles Assistant.
Dota 2 is now more inclusive as SHARDS ARE FOR EVERYONE! Anyone can now earn shards and use shards for tipping and purchasing items in the Shard Shop - this is huge for the community.
A new hero will be unveiled towards the end of November and there will be more regular content updates going forward instead of focusing on the International.
There is also a not so cryptic clue at the end of the update that seems to indicate a Halloween event. Tell me, do you think this is possible? If they are true to their word about regular content updates, seasonal events could definitely be a step in the right direction. We have seen this put to good effect by Blizzard.
