About this game:
NieR Replicant is the exclusive Japanese version of NieR Gestalt, an action adventure video game based in the same world but differ only in the lead character's design, relationship with the character of Yonah, and the time in which the game takes place. The game is a spin-off from the Drakengard series, and follows the fifth ending of the first game. Set over one thousand years after the apparent collapse of modern Earth, the protagonist, Nier, attempts to find a cure for a mysterious illness affecting his sister, Yonah. Journeying with a talking book, Grimoire Weiss, and eventually with two other characters, Kainé and Emil, he attempts to find a remedy and fights off the hostile creatures known as Shades that now populate the world.
